Hi everybody and welcome to the Nuke The Moon blog.

There ain't much here yet but there will be, including downloadable mixes and exclusive tracks, as well as information on upcoming Nuke The Moon club nights and chances to win free guestlist places.

First a little introduction to Nuke The Moon... Nuke The Moon was started in the summer 2010 by myself, Jan Rybacki & my partner-in-crime Matt Burrows (A.K.A DJ's Quahaze & Math.You). Basically, we were fed up with the current dance music scene in Glasgow, clubs charging patrons £20 or £30, or sometimes more, to see some 'big name DJ' play his or her greatest hits, which more often than not would not be mixed as well as the £30 entry free would suggest.

Filled with righteous anger, we decided to start our own night, which would focus on the music and the dancefloor, the way it should be. We managed to secure a Friday night at The Flying Duck, Renfield St., Glasgow. Nuke The Moon was born.

Following our initial launch night at The Flying Duck in Glasgow we have secured a weekly residency (more info and flyers will follow soon), where we will be playing a wide range of music, but centred mainly around Disco, Italo and House; good funky, jackin' dance music! Expect the very best in new music and classic cuts, plus lots of cheeky edits and remixes.
